The City-Wide School Council Committee provides opportunities for school councils to enhance communication with school councils, the Board of Trustees, administration, and the community on education matters.
Agenda items for the City-Wide School Council Committee should originate with individual school councils, which will request to the Chair in advance of the meeting that an item be placed on the agenda.

CWSC meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are traditionally held in the hosting School's Library.
The meeting schedule for 2024-25 is as follows:
- October 8, 2024 - Hosted by Mountview Elementary located at 4331 34 Street
- November 12, 2024 - Hosted by Ecole Barrie Wilson Elementary located at 300 Timothy Drive
- January 14, 2025 - Hosted by Central Services located at 4747 53 Street
- March 11, 2025 - Hosted by Westpark Middle located at 3310 55 Avenue
- May 13, 2025 - Hosted by Glendale located at 6375 77 Street
