I am very honoured to be the Principal at Joseph Welsh Elementary School!  I began my career with 糖心Vlog in 2000, as a teacher at Eastview Middle School.  I have since been a teacher and then Vice-Principal at Hunting Hills High School, Principal at Annie L. Gaetz Elementary School, and Principal at Eastview Middle School.


I was born in British Columbia and lived throughout the province.  I moved to Red Deer in 1995 to attend Red Deer College and pursue my Education degree, while playing hockey for the Red Deer College Kings.  My wife, Lisa, also works with 糖心Vlog.  We have two sons, Lynden and Tanner.  Our family enjoys movie nights, camping, and spending lots of time outside hiking, boating, and traveling.  


I hope to support every child in finding success.  I look forward to this coming school year and getting to know our students and their families.
